Leesville’s 1st Street Ballpark just got a little TLC! With new roofs on the dugouts and a general clean-up, it’s looking better than ever—and it’ll be the only ballpark available for a while as exciting upgrades continue at the Recreation Complex.

Over at the Rec Complex, we’re making big moves to transform the space into a true community hub:

  • Installing artificial turf on all five infields for smoother play and easier maintenance

  • Adding new fields to expand opportunities for local teams and tournaments

  • Building regulation pickleball courts to meet growing demand for this fast-paced sport

  • Enhancing parking areas for better access and convenience

  • Creating a stocked fishing pond—a peaceful spot for families, youth programs, and weekend relaxation

These upgrades are designed to make Leesville’s Recreation Complex more versatile, welcoming, and fun for everyone. We appreciate your patience as we build something truly special.

In the meantime, call Chris Fox at 337-239-2995 to schedule some time at 1st Street Ballpark.
