The Leesville Mayor’s Women’s Commission is proud to announce the winners of this year’s “Scare the Crows Off Main Street” Scarecrow Contest:
Non-Profits:1st Place – Vernon Parish Headstart ($100 prize)
2nd Place – Vernon Council on Aging ($75 prize)
3rd Place – Northwestern State University ($50 prize) | Business:Gallery 111 -- Trophy to display until 2026 contest with all bragging rights |
These creative scarecrows are standing tall along Main Street and will remain on display through November 1st. It’s the perfect time to stroll downtown, snap some photos, and celebrate the spirit of fall in Leesville!
