How can you help?
Although the Junior League will now lead the Trash Bash event, the Mayor’s Women’s Commission will continue to support the effort in several key ways:
- Arranging for a dumpster to be placed at the Art Park for the full duration of Keep Louisiana Beautiful Week (April 17–27) for residents who wish to haul and dispose of their own trash.
- Coordinating with the Public Works Department to ensure extra curbside trash pickups are completed throughout the city for the week.
- And of course, we encourage all students to participate and join us in helping keep our city clean.
