Pageant Date: August 30, 2025

Registration Deadline: August 29, 2025

Entry Fee: $45.00

Fees must be paid by August 29th at Leesville City Hall -- 508th South 5th St. There are several ways to pay -- see more on the entry form.

On-Site Entries will NOT be accepted!!!

**Queen Miss Interviews begin: 2:30 PM**

Queen Miss will also need interview attire (nice jeans with a nice blouse).

Awards:

Derby Queens will receive a gorgeous Crown & Monogrammed Sash. Princess will be awarded in ages 0-9 years. 

Side Awards: Best Fashion, Prettiest Hair, Most Beautiful, Prettiest Eyes, Best Smile, & Photogenic

Photogenic Competition:

  • Each division will have a photogenic winner.
  • Photos can be black & white or color.
  • Photos should be NO LARGER than 8"x10". No picture frames.
  • Photos MUST be labeled on the back with name, age & division.
  • Please bring Photo on the day of the pageant. DO NOT MAIL.

General information and Guidelines

  • ALL OUTFITS SHOULD BE AGE APPROPRIATE.
  • Ages 0-5 years: No fake hair! No fake teeth! No fake lashes!
  • Hair & Make-up should be age appropriate.
  • Attire is Summer Inspired for ages 0-9 years. No Bottoms or Bellies Please!
  • Only one person is allowed backstage with the contestant. Contestants who are in conflict with this rule may be disqualified at the director’s discretion. It is important to keep the backstage area orderly for the competition to run smoothly.  We appreciate your cooperation with this rule.
  • Queens must be photographed by City of Leesville staff after each division has been completed. Please do not leave before you have done this.
  • Judges will be qualified. Their decisions are final. No Refunds.
  • Bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave with no refund of fees.
  • Score sheets will be returned to the contestants' Parent or Guardian ONLY! There is a $2 CASH ONLY fee which must be paid onsite after the pageant. They will then be emailed to you or available for pick-up at Leesville City Hall on the Monday following the pageant.

Admission Fees:

Admission is $5 for EACH person ages 5 & up (4 & under free). Everyone must pay except the contestant. NO exceptions. Please advise your guests in advance.

2025 Derby Daze

All Queens are asked to attend the Derby Daze races on October 25th beginning at 10:00 AM. We ask that the girls wear their crown & sash to the event.

Note to Queens:

While holding this title, you will be expected to carry yourself respectfully as you will be representing the City of Leesville.
